Who are the three artists creating exciting new work in the studios at Craft Alliance in the Kranzberg Arts Center? Meet the CA Artists-in-Residence (AIRs) Molly Douglass (metal), Eric Hoefer (clay), and Samara Rosen (fiber)! The CA residency program is a wonderful opportunity for emerging artists around the country who work in the craft media to spend 3 to 12 months developing a body of work and to interact with a dynamic audience of students, artists and art lovers. On Thursday, February 16 at 7pm listen to Molly, Eric and Samara discuss their artwork in the context of their residency with moderator James Ibur, a nationally recognized ceramic artist and associate professor at St. Louis Community College at Meramec in the Craft Alliance Education Center inside the Kranzberg Arts Center. Join us for a lively conversation with the artists and learn what makes Craft Alliance’s program so unique. Admission is free and open to the public.
